JJ Thompson, the front man of Canadian Folk-Rock band JJ AND THE PILLARS, has not just had a lustrous career in his original music – but also in his unique, often unexpected renditions of popular songs. His songs “Way Home”, “The Wolves” and “Burning Leaves” have been played over the world racking up 10+ million streams, radio play and a featured on the hit TV series “The Way Home” where you can find him playing his music in several episodes as a recurring role on the show. Now he enjoys telling stories and playing mostly Canadian music, often from the list of diverse bands he has shared the stage with (Arkells, Big Wreck, Dwayne Gretzky, USS, Finger Eleven, Billy Talent, Strumbellas and More!)
