Peterborough Musicfest will keep the 2023 summer music vibe rolling on Saturday, July 22, presenting multi-awarded Canadian rapper Classified at Del Crary Park as part of its 36th season.

Bursting onto the music scene in 1995, Nova Scotia born Classified has evolved into one of the country’s most successful rap artists, producers and songwriters.

With 18 studio albums to his credit, Classified has worked with some of the world’s most prominent hip hop artists, including Snoop Dog, Raekwon and Maestro Fresh Wes. Consistently breaking down the barrier between performer and audience, his music has amassed more than 200 million streams globally.

Critical acclaim for Classified’s talent has been realized in 24 major award nominations, with eight wins between the Juno Awards, East Coast Music Awards and MuchMusic Video Awards.

Putting an exclamation mark on that success was his 2013 self-titled album that debuted at number one on the Canadian Nielsen Soundscan Chart with the single Inner Ninja earning a Juno Award for Rap Recording of the Year and certified five-times platinum based on digital downloads.
