Sam Roberts Band with The Weber Brothers Band

Peterborough Musicfest is pleased to present our very first Drive-in show on August 29 at 7PM featuring Sam Roberts Band with special guests The Weber Brothers Band. This is a free-admission show but you’ll have to claim a ticket via www.memorialcentre.ca or 705-743-3561 starting August 9th at 10AM.

Sam Roberts released his Juno award winning major label debut, We Were Born in a Flame, in 2003. Six albums and one name change later, The Sam Roberts Band has been nominated for fifteen Juno Awards, winning six, including Artist of the Year (2004 and 2009) and Album of the Year (2004). The band’s seventh studio album All of Us was released to universal acclaim in October 2020.

From an apprenticeship with Rockin’ Ronnie Hawkins, to performing with Kris Kristofferson, Garth Hudson, The Tragically Hip, Levon Helm, Merle Haggard, Chuck Berry and more, The Weber Brothers Band is rock royalty in their adopted hometown of Peterborough. Twelve records into their career, Musicfest is proud to host “the baddest band in the land” for what will no doubt prove to be an unforgettable night.
