Del Crary Park

Travelling by Foot or Bike?

Peterborough has numerous recreational trails that make getting to Musicfest easy and hassle-free. If you're on the west side of the Otonabee, you can take the Rotary Trail south through Millennium Park. From the east, take the walking path along the Train Bridge to the west shore. Both of these pathways lead to a trail that runs south along the edge of the river, which brings you right to Musicfest in Del Crary Park.

Arriving by Car?

Directions from the East

      Take Highway 7 (which becomes Lansdowne Street in Peterborough)

      Turn right at George Street

      Go north on George for 1 kilometre (1/2 mile); Del Crary Park is on the right

Directions from the Toronto Area

      Take Highway 401 to Highway 115 North

      Take Parkway cutoff into Peterborough

      Turn right on Lansdowne Street

      Go east on Lansdowne for 2 kilometres (1.6 miles), then left on George Street

      Go north on George for 1 kilometre (1/2 mile); Del Crary Park is on the right

Arriving by Boat?

Public Transit?

Peterborough Transit to Musicfest
: From the downtown terminal, take Route 10: Collison. The bus leaves the terminal at 6:40 p.m., 7:20 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., arriving at the stop on George Street across from Del Crary Park about 5 minutes after leaving the terminal.

Peterborough Transit from Musicfest : To return to the downtown and to transfer to another bus at the downtown transit terminal, take Route 10: Collison from the stop in front of Del Crary Park on the east side of George Street at 9:45 p.m. and 10:25 p.m. All buses meet at the terminal at the same time and you can transfer to another bus when you get to the terminal. 

If you would like to go south from Del Crary Park to the SE end of the city, take Route 10 from the stop across from Del Crary Park on the west side of George Street at 10:05 p.m. All buses on regular routes run every 40 minutes and the cash fare is $2.50.

Taking the Bus from out of town, 
stay on the bus until you reach the downtown bus terminal. To get to Del Crary Park, go next door to the Peterborough Transit terminal on Simcoe Street and take a city bus to Del Crary Park (instructions above) or walk there by travelling east on Simcoe Street and south on George Street. It is about a 15-minute walk.

Bike Parking

Bike parking is provided adjacent to the Marina and the Art Gallery.


Parking at Del Crary Park is limited, but neighbourhood street parking is available nearby. There is also ample parking in the heart of downtown Peterborough – a pleasant 10-minute walk from the park.
